The LITESPARK-011 study demonstrated that belzutifan plus lenvatinib significantly improved progression-free survival and objective response rate compared to cabozantinib in patients with advanced clear-cell renal cell carcinoma previously treated with immunotherapy. While overall survival favored belzutifan plus lenvatinib, the difference was not statistically significant at the time of this analysis. The safety profile of belzutifan and lenvatinib was consistent with the known profiles of the individual drugs, with hypertension and anaemia being common adverse events.
